Sumo wrestling is national sport in Japan.
But there is a OMG point.
Japanese don't play Sumo.
Usually they don't have Sumo club activity in school.
So Japanese kids don't play Sumo.
They play football, baseball etc...
Most of Sumo wrestlers are Mongolian.
As below, recently most of Sumo wrestlers are Mongolian.
Only few of them are Japanese.
In a 2009 survey conducted by a Japanese statistical agency, of the four sumo wrestlers named as most famous by Japanese people, three were Mongolian.
